Grand Pritzker Prix

Yes, it’s that time. Pritzker fever is in the air! A quick update on whose names that are floating around online discussion boards this year:

-Steven Holl (the preferred candidate in my book)
-TWBTA (though I would prefer to call them Tod Williams Billie Tsien, as TWBTA sounds more like a continental airline)
-Peter Eisenman (what has he done in the last years?)
-Snøhetta (too new internationally)
-Daniel Libeskind (could be… though it all starts to look the same after the first two sharp diagonals)
-Diller Scofidio and Renfro
-David Chipperfield
-Coop Himmelb(l)au
-Santiago Calatrava

Poor Toyo Ito has no chance since last year’s Japanese steal..

And then there are the people messing with online forums, proposing REX or BIG. If they win, I stop blogging.

Anyone I’m missing?

I just LOVE this blog!!!! I learn a lot from it. I hope Steven Holl wins the Pritzker this year. He should have won many years ago.
